Sorry for the gajillion pictures when I said I'd only posted a few of my faves but I just couldn't pick between all these! Overall, tweed, fur, and leather were very popular along with a lot layering. But a lot of the pieces I liked were the dresses and gowns - the gowns by many designers this season were simple yet so eye catching. Many designers also used a lot of embellishments on the gowns, kind of reminding me of Ellie Saab's fall 2011 and 2012 gowns. I chose more of the pieces that I really like and that I'd actually wear, especially Erin Fetherston's collection. Overall, I'm really impressed by this season's collections and I've grown a lot of interest in many other designers other than well-known designers like Alexander Wang and Jason Wu so I will sure keep an eye out for some of these designers in the future! If you're interested in taking a look at the different collections for this season, go check out Elle's website!

Things Will Get Better

1. Rebecca Taylor Cardigan 2. Hollister V-Neck 3. H&M Leggings 4. Vince Camuto Combat Boots 5. ZARA Butterfly Scarf
People say that with bad news comes good news. But this week has just been horrible for me - there simply has been no good news. But don't worry, I'll always have the mindset that things do in fact, get better. So instead of freaking out and getting cranky from all my stress, I'm putting a smile on my face because I know that with bad things, come good things. Also, the collections from NYFW '13 have been amazing! I'll have a post up soon with my favorite looks from the designers from NYFW '13 so look forward to that! And for those who are having a bad week like me, drink some tea, take a nice hot bath and listen to your favorite music - I guarantee it'll make you feel better!

Corduroy

1. F21 Lace Button-Up Tank 2. Foreign Exchange Navy Corduroy Pants 3. H&M Black Sweater 4. Marc Fisher Leather Booties 5. F21 Gold Collar Necklace
I actually haven't been that busy lately but to be honest, I have been too lazy to snap a photo of my outfits due to the cold weather. Lately, I've been wearing a lot of sweats and I'm trying my best to get myself to wear something decent but then again, it's only school. But I do apologize for not posting in a while. Oh, and please avoid looking at the mess at my dresser and desk! I'll try my best to clean my room and try to keep it clean for the next post!

After Much Ado..

Mandee's Black Studded Sweater, Hollister Jeans, Marc Fisher Leather Booties

Cakes from Black Hound NYC

I'm finally back after weeks of not blogging any new posts! I'm sorry for being so MIA but staying in New York over winter break and all the work I had to do after break kept me busy. But I finally managed to snap a shot of my outfit today; I'm wearing an oversized black studded sweater with my new leather booties from Marc Fisher! These shoes are so comfortable and look great in jeans or leggings. They were a little stiff at first but they were fine after I walked around and broke them in.

Also, I wanted to share with you guys some of the picture on my Instagram. Not only did I celebrate Christmas, I also celebrated my own birthday and my cousin's birthday. The mini cakes in one of the pictures are from Black Hound in New York City. Their cakes not only look so beautiful, but they taste like heaven. Their mousse and buttercream just melts in your mouth once you take a bite. I also got to finally try a tea leaf latte from La Colombe in New York City. The atmosphere of the cafe was nice and comfortable but if you're more of a Starbucks person I'd suggest you not go there. They only have one choice of drink there - their signature latte. It's true coffee with no sugar or additives but they do have a sweetening syrup but it can only do so little. I also got to try these amazing fries from Pommes Frites with the pepper jack parmesan sauce. They literally have about 20 sauces that you can choose from and I'm sure all of them are delicious. They give you such a big portion that a regular can fill you up! So next time you're in New York City, make sure to stop by these places and try some good food/drinks!

City Lights and Empty Parks

H&M Faux Fur Jacket, Urban Outfitters Floral Collared Tank Top, HCO Dark Washed Denim, Vince Camuto Combat Boots, ZARA Bucket Bag With Zips, F21 Gold Bangle, Francesca's Collections Stone Cuff

I hope you guys are all ready for the holidays cause I know I am! I get out of school in exactly 3 days and I am so excited to spend my winter break with family and friends and just have a good time. Last weekend, I had the chance to hang out with my best friend from New York. We went to the city to get some Christmas shopping done and had a lovely time catching up with each other's lives. I wore a UO Floral Collared Tank Top with a black sheer back and an H&M Faux Fur Jacket over it. The Tank Top was so comfortable and I love how it's not a regular collared shirt because of it's unique back. I actually got the Faux Fur Jacket from H&M just last week and I was so excited to wear it cause I got it on sale for only $30 when the original price was $60. The jacket is mostly made of polyester but it kept me warm the whole night and it was so comfortable! I will be back in the city for sure over winter break and I just can't wait to get out of school and have a good week's worth of relaxation and having fun.

Oversized

F21 White Laced Collared Tank Top, Francesca's Collections Gold Peter Pan Collar Necklace, APT9 Light Pink Oversized Sweater, H&M Leggings, Pacsun Wedge Booties
After having a bad start to a busy week, I finally had the chance to snap a few photos of my outfit that I wore today. I finally got to wear my new black wedge booties from Pacsun that I absolutely adore! I only got them for about $35 and they look a lot more expensive than the actual price. I also wore my white laced collared tank top from F21 under my APT9 light pink sweater to give the outfit a more vintage look. I usually just pop on a sweater and leggings during the winter season but I thought I might play around with what I had and ended up with this cute outfit.

Blazers

F21 Sweater, F21 Blazer, Gap Bootcut Corduroy Pants, Nine West Desired Platform Pumps, F21 Gold Choker
I really like this outfit! I don't really wear corduroy but I love how they go with this outfit. I also love how there's a kind of nautical feel from the outfit because of the blazer. I had a presentation in one of my classes today and I had to dress up so I went straight for the blazer. I absolutely love how you can dress blazers up or down, but in this case I dressed it up and went for a more formal look. Blazers are perfect in the fall/winter time and since today was about 62 degrees, it kept me warm enough that I didn't have to wear a jacket. I also love my nude Nine West platforms! They're not the regular nude pumps/platforms out there cause one of the sides of the heel is covered with metal with Nine West engraved on it. I also wore Gold choker with these really pretty detailing from F21. This was one of the things that I bought on Black Friday and I absolutely love it.

If you're wondering what I'm wearing on my lips, I have on Estee Lauder's 709 Love Affair from the ELECTRIC Collection. Also on my nails I'm wearing Spoiled by Wet n' Wild's Thanks a Latte.
