Weekend Get-Away Photo Diary!

I could not have asked for a better weekend these past few days! It felt so good to just relax and be with family. From hanging out in the hotel to tanning on the beach and walking the boardwalk, we all had so much fun. My nephew and niece had a blast at the boardwalk arcades and rides while the girls enjoyed bathing under the sun at the beach. Looking through these photos, I realize how crazy my family is but that's exactly why I love them the way I do. I can't wait to have another family reunion before the summer ends!

For my outfit details, I'm wearing a bikini from H&M. At night on the boardwalk, I changed into an embellished tank from H&M and a black high-low skirt from Urban Outfitters with my Urban Outfitters crossbody and Steve Madden embellished sandals.

Bring On The Weekend

Tribal Print Tee/Ralph Lauren Beach Maxi Skirt/Urban Outfitters Crossbody/Target sandals/Alex&Ani Bangles
I'm so excited for this weekend! I get to see most if not all my family and get to do some family bonding while I'm down at Atlantic City this weekend! I just wanted to do a little post before I leave but I'll be sure to do a photo diary/post about my weekend when I get back next week! The weather's been kind of gloomy over here in the East Coast but at least it's not blazing hot! Hopefully the sun will come back out tomorrow so I can go to the beach and get a tan. But nonetheless, I'll be having a great weekend and I hope you guys do too!

Shoe Haul!

I got these shoes about a week ago, but I haven't had time to make a post about them ever since I've been working. I never knew how time consuming a part-time job can be until I actually started. Anyway, I obviously have a shoe obsession, especially heels even though I barely wear them (more like I don't have any occasion to wear them to).

Suede Keyhole Platform Pump in Fuchsia
Remember how I mentioned I still had to find prom shoes in my last post? Well I finally bought them! I'm not a fan of Charlotte Russe's shoes since they're not really comfortable and the quality isn't that great. But when you've looked in almost every department store, and shoe store and can't find the perfect prom shoes, you kind of have to go with what you got. I'm not a fan of evening shoes because i feel like they're so boring and not to mention over priced. So I ordered these in size 6 and they fit perfectly! They're pretty tall and a little slippery but I'll manage on the day of prom!

Ankle Strap Single Sole Pump
I know I just said I'm not a fan of Charlotte Russe's shoes but they were having a BOGO $12.50 so I couldn't resist but buy another pair! I ended up choosing these nude ankle strap heels. These no platform, ankle strap heels are getting really popular but I must say, they're really hard to walk in! Since the toe opening is so big, my toes keep sliding through. I'm not sure whether I'm going to return them yet, but they are really comfortable and pretty!

Marc Fisher Black Suede Flats
Thank god I got these black flats because I wear them everyday for work. I've been trying to find cheap but comfortable and cute black flats for a while now and I finally found these about 2 weeks ago! I've worn them quite a lot already (that's why they look kind of dirty in the pictures). The soles are really cushioned making walking or standing in them really easy and comfortable.

Look At Those Long Legs

H&M Pink High-Low Button Up/Hollister Co. Boot-Cut Jeans/Lucky Wedges/ F21 Necklace

First off, I have no idea why I look super tan in all these photos. It's probably the lighting cause I swear I'm not this dark in person! Anyway, today has been the first day in ages since I've worn boot-cut flared jeans. You can technically say they're not in style anymore since the skinny jean era took over but I somehow think boot-cut jeans will one day come back since most trends do recycle. Other than the fact that I was wearing wedges, these jeans made my legs look so long and skinny! Which is a plus, since I'm the total opposite.
